Veterinary professionals are often thrust into leadership roles and provided with little, if any, guidance or training. Sometimes, they are promoted into roles such as practice manager, medical director, veterinary technician manager and client service supervisor not because they have the qualifications or the training, but because they have been at the hospital the longest or they’re friends with the boss. They are given the new title and told, “Go be a leader.” Many don’t have job descriptions nor clear expectations. This course helps provide the foundational skills needed to be an effective leader in a veterinary hospital. Whether you are a seasoned practice manager or in a brand-new leadership role, this course will provide you with the skills, tools and strategies for strengthening your leadership skills and building trust so that you can coach every member on your team into becoming unicorns.
